Dr. Tripti Jajodia Kauntia is an expert ophthalmologist based in Kolkata. Aiming to promote eye health, her focus is always on the delivery of exceptional eye care. She completed her MBBS from KMC, Manipal, and got her Diploma in ophthalmology from KMC Mangalore. Additionally, she was also awarded a Fellowship in General Opthalmology Uvea and Medical Retina from Sankara Netralaya, Kolkata. 

Currently, Dr. Kauntia is attached as a uvea and medical retina consultant at Netralayam Superspeciality Eye Hospital in Kolkata. Plus, she is also an uvea and medical retina consultant in Netralayam, Mukundapur. She began her medical journey from Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal. She then went on to serve as a fellow at Sankara Netralaya in Kolkata.

During this time, she gained experience in various subspecialities like pediatric ophthalmology, cornea, glaucoma, and occuloplasty. As part of the fellowship training, she also served as a Senior Resident doctor at the Uvea Department of  Sankara Netralaya, Chennai. There, too, she gained relevant experience. Apart from this, her clinical experience also includes serving as a consultant in the Department of Vitreoretina and Uvea at Shroff Eye Center in New Delhi and as a visiting consultant at Tata Motors Hospital, Jamshedpur.
